We’ve had a busy summer with three testing development workshops, collecting input from estates, architects and manufacturers all active in mental health environments.
We now have the early-stage drafts outlining how we’ll assess products ligature and robustness performance and we’ll be shortly uploading details of doorsets and window specifics. We’re looking to collect input and feedback from clinical staff on the direction of the testing guidance and any medically related specifics that we might need to consider as we continue with turning these drafts into actual test methods (ie. ligature load levels). You can download the drafts here(if you have access to the members zone) and anyone attending will be emailed these documents in advance.
We’ll be hosting two feedback sessions, one in London on the 20th November and one in Manchester on the 12th December. We have capacity for approximately 10 people at each session, so you’ll need to move quick to register.
