News from our Workstreams

We’ve got a lot of knowledge between us, and by sharing experience in the best way, we make real progress. Although we’re not fans of rigid hierarchies, each workstream has a leader and one or two assistants. The beauty of our workstream system is its adaptability and recently, we’ve made a few changes. Here’s the up-to-date structure:

The Marketing and Editorial workstream is led by Clive Stone, with support from Cath Lake.

Stakeholder Engagement is Cath Lake’s responsibility. She’s assisted by Russell Hogarth and Alex Caruso. This workstream will also, from time to time, call upon Tony Crumpton’s expertise.

Testing and Innovation is the remit of Philip Ross. He has the very able backup of Jeff Bartle and Alex Caruso.

Research and Education is Paula Reavey’s area of expertise, with Jeff Bartle assisting.

NAPICU liaison is in the capable hands of Jenny Gill, our Chairman.

The DIMHN Conference workstream is led by Jeff Bartle with Jenny’s support.

And finally, our International workstream is headed by Alex Caruso, with Tony Crumpton and Philip Ross assisting.

Work-in-progress

There are always projects underway. Many involve considerable effort and we’d like to congratulate Paula Reavey, leader of the Research workstream, for her commitment. Paula has reported that work on the extended literature review is almost complete. The comprehensive document runs to circa 14,000 words and is currently in the final stages of editing.  Paula also reports that she has managed to secure the help of the researcher who worked on last year’s sound brochure. The 2018 version is now in progress.
