General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

As you will probably be aware, on 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) becomes law.  This means that the Design in Mental Health Network will be asking for specific permission from you regarding how we should contact you.

As an organisation, we do not hold large amounts of personally identifiable data as it isn’t relevant to the way we operate. Please note that we never share your details with third parties.

If you wish to remain a member, we will need to maintain essential contact information and details of your membership status. However, in future, you will also be able to state your preference as to how you wish to receive information about DiMHN news and events et cetera.

Next steps

Over the coming weeks, we will contact you via email and request that you state your preferences. These messages may be repeated several times.

If we do not receive your permission, your details and any personal information will be removed from our database on 25th May 2018. This will mean that if you wish to continue as a member, you will have to re-join the network.
